“Pro-choice before conception, Pro-life after.” The Government should not be in the business of regulating the activities of what people are doing with others in the sanctity of their own home. However, if a person is choosing to engage in sexual intercourse, they are assuming a risk that activity may lead to a consequence. The choice is already made. The consequence is a new life. That life warrants state protection.

The Government should not prohibit a woman from seeking an abortion in a situation involving rape or incest. In those situations, the victim didn’t choose to assume the risk. Further, the Government should not prohibit an abortion in situations involving the life of the mother. The pro-life movement is about life and when two lives are at stake, the Government should not dictate which life is more expendable.
